Kings Highway closure

Kings Hwy - the one between Canberra, Braidwood and the coast - is now closed Tues am - Thurs pm. We used it yesterday (Friday) on the first day after it was opened again and contrary to what I thought it was a pleasant trip with not a lot of traffic. There was more in the evening when we came down again but that happens every Friday pm (Canberra traffic coming down for the weekend). It will be closed for the rest of June - Tues -Thurs.

Hope this helps people plan their trips. We saw a few vans on the road yesterday. There are signs up re diversions.

The RMS are assuring us that the road closures on Clyde Mountain, Kings Hwy, will not go beyond 27th June 2013. So from 5pm this Thursday the road should be open every day.

Just heard the Clyde is open today, seems it too wet to work on it... might have to continue after June 27th after all?

The Nerriga road is closed, as would be Oallen Ford.

Yes, heard the same news. At least it won't be closed for the school holidays though. They have promised that.
