I was wondering if someone could help me out with this question. We are soon going away in the van hoping too do some free camping and have been told that in some free camps you need to contain your grey water. We are looking for a portable grey water tank about 40/50 litres. We have tried lots of caravan spa...

Checked out the rust removal work, paid the man and set off from the Gold Coast. Again not used to the trip over the Gateway and the heavy traffic just to get there but kept on keeping on and eventually after a Maccas breakfast and an Aldi grocery shop I ended up at Laurie's place near Zillmere. Had plenty t...

it's been a long-held dream for Martin and me to spend a few months on the road instead of a week or 10 days - and in April, this becomes a reality. We have a Nissan 3L turbo (not the best choice but what we could afford) and a 13ft Jayco Freedom pop-top caravan which we love! Heading off from Perth, first st...

I've been living overseas for the last few years but it is time to retire and I think that Grey Nomading is thing for me. As a single woman without much knowledge of engines or any real idea about anything mechanical, I have no idea how to start looking for a vehicle. My budget is about $15,000 - $20,000. I...

Hi everyone. Name is Peter, but I answer to just about anything. SWMBO is Christine, and we have been married for over 40 years (most of it happily). After lurking around on this site for a few months, we have finally decided that you are a friendly lot, and have come out of hiding. I am a recently retired m...

While at Greens Lake this year a few GNs were noticed retrieving "rubbish" from the garbage bin. Last year KA retrieved a table, two brooms and a broom handle from the skip at Greens. I was wondering what things others have retrieved from rubbish dumps, skips etc.

We think that we have sway bars. 2 iron poles with bend one end and chain. Not sure if we need them for 14ft pop top van with a 2.5 Nissan Navara ute. We also are not sure how we fit. Have a Haymen Reece tow bar. Being newbies and wanting to get it right we are hoping someone out there could tell us if it's worth us...
