Just wondered if anyone has done a comparison cost on buying a pop top compared to a full van? The depreciation on one compared to the other. And operational costs on one to the other? cheers

Hi folks, Once again would love to hear from the experienced out there, this time in relation to TV satellite dishes. Basically not sure what's best, either a hand cranking roof mounted dish or the portable tripod type. I gather there is about $1000 difference, naturally I prefer ease of operation...

Setting up the drain hoses on the van, the kit included a 25mm connector and a 38mm connector. Not taking too much notice of the maze of pipe work at that stage, I brought the 25mm OK, then went searching for the 38mm, and guess what the only supplier was Jayco. So $75 poorer I went to fit, but before I unwrap...

Gday gang We will be off shortly on our epic trip from Adelaide to Perth. I have seen on wikicamps a number of highly rated free camps etc on the way over the Nullabour, so accommodation is not the biggest worry, I guess my biggest worry is fuel and how much I will need. Ive done the sums and over the 2200KMs I...

Hi All. Most RVs have a push up vent(s) in the roof which lets in light and fresh air. Our 'van has the commonly fitted Dometic brand at front and back. It has one sliding section to keep insects out and and second one to block out light. The problem with these roof vents is they also let in the sun and heat...

I met an older woman at a bar last night. She looked pretty good for a 60-year-old. In fact, she wasn't too bad at all, and I found myself thinking she probably had a really hot daughter. We drank a couple of beers, and she asked if I'd ever had a Sportsman's Double? 'What's that? I asked. 'It's a mother and d...
