Hi everyone my jayco poptop has developed roof leaks and has subsequently left water marks on the ceiling inside. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of these internal water marks? The ceiling is Formica type materia. I have heard that water leaks on poptops can be a problem.

This week my wife said to me "it would be great to have the ability to hang smoky damp clothes in the shower cubical to air instead of hanging around the caravan". Not a big request, I had not noticed it before but this tour around the lower 3rd of Queensland has been a mix of rain and cold weather. Into a smal...

I have made a screen door closer for about $9 for our pop top Roadstar. I fitted a new second hand door with the security door, I wanted to have an automatic closer for the screen door part. Started with a piece of white plastic pipe from Bunnings, 21mm o.d. with one 90 deg bend and one T piece, some shock cor...

I'm camped in the forest in north central Victoria and it's been about 10C each day for the past week accompanied by 5mm of rain daily. Although I have covered my main log pile with a tarp I still need smaller wood to get the camp fire going and this, of course, is wet but tonight I had "Brilliant Idea No. 372...

I got sick of getting in/out of the cab a couple of times when I wanted to hook the van up. I've seen how other couples tend to get into arguments as one tries to guide the other onto the van. Also, having a dodgy shoulder, I did away with the manual wind-up/down leg (I had a Vehicle Components leg), so bought...

What can I say...I'm retired and between trips away, I get bored. Here's a small project I did recently. After relocating my GME antenna from the bullbar to the top of the canopy (2012 Chev Silverado, with 6" lift), it soon became apparent that despite having a sprung-base, it was fouling and creating...

Ive read a number of suggestions like scupper vents (theres one no our van), but Ive heard they can make it worse, especially if youre following someone, or meet vehicles coming other way. Then theres dust reduction systems, fans etc for positive pressure. The best and most cost effective idea to me s...

Did you check your title to ensure the lender had been removed, once the loan was paid in full? If you have no need to borrow again, make sure is has been deleted, or you or rellies will be unable to sell until such time as it has been registered as "clear", in NSW at least.

I'm forever having to recover from Mum's mistakes with her TV remote control. In the past I ordered a minimal remote with just the basic functions, but these are not always available. I was browsing Bunnings camping products online one night and saw their tent peg and rope kit. In it were 6 plastic pegs, 6 steel pegs, and 6 screw like pegs. So on a gamble, I bought 6 galvanised coach screws with 3/4 HEX heads, as they looked far bigger, and better, but because they weren't "bonafide" s...
