Caravan clothes dryer

This week my wife said to me "it would be great to have the ability to hang smoky damp clothes in the shower cubical to air instead of hanging around the caravan".

Not a big request, I had not noticed it before but this tour around the lower 3rd of Queensland has been a mix of rain and cold weather.

Into a small town hardware shop, a broom handle cut to size. Mate you would of thought I brought her a diamond ring.

Photo explains, I just rested it on the recess at the top of the shower cubical and remove it when not needed.

Hardest part was handing over the $5 for a boom handle.

Yep, been doing that for some time. We use 2 of the adjustable ones with rubber stoppers on the ends

Our bathroom has an outlet into it from the central heating and a sliding window that can be left open while we drive.
We can have that outlet running hot without the other outlet.
As we drive, the central heating is kept hot by the engine (or by the diesel heater).
Result is that not only can we hang the laundry in the bathroom, but we can also dry it either when stationary, or when driving.
Cheers,
Peter

 Nice one.

Maybe I will need to think more.
