SSD high temperatures
(Preview)
SSD run too hot & de-throttle so they do not over heat, great, but irritating at times. The other issue is if you can run them cooler they apparently last longer. I've added heatsinks & Noctura 40mm fan (all spare bits I had) to the SSD. It now run at a reasonable temperature. P.S. I can't stan...

Portable air conditioner dual ducting exhaust/intake
(Preview)
For whatever reason the portable air conditioners sold in Australia only have an exhaust duct. Intake air to feed the exhaust is pinched from the room, so that air in the room has to be replaced by outside air. I was sick & tired of holding up the esky lid. I did later have a prop to hold it up, plus a few other solutions with Velcro which also worked well. They all actually were pretty good solutions. Aldi Screw in Pegs (Pile driver) - should the plastic tops spin on the peg ?
(Preview)
I bought a set of these - and had difficulty using them because the plastic top didn't spin on the peg. So, when using the drill to screw them in, no way I could have the guy rope on the top - not even for the last turn or two. So, I bought another set, thinking the first set was defective. And they are the same...
