Has anyone been over the Tanami track from Alice Springs to Halls Creek recently? I am currently thinking of travelling to Broome after Alice Springs in May this year. Hi Everyone. Does anyone know what the road conditions are like getting to Steep Point. I have just read that is is a drive of 40km on soft sand so therefore 4WD only. I have a 4WD but just wondering what the conditions are like and if it is still indeed 40km of soft sand?
