We have successfully used 'Yahoo' for about the past 9-years for our email address and for searching. In the past several months, we are having considerable trouble with our emails and my wife started an account with Yahoo 7 and that was even worst. It is almost impossible to add email contacts...

Greetings, I am looking for a device that can be attachd to a hose that will measure the amount of water going into my tank so that I can partial fill before my trip and then top up just before camp, thereby not having to carry hundreds of litres unecessarily. There has gotto be an easier method than timin...

I know this has been on before, but a noisy water pump is not environment friendly at all . Just think if a Lyrebird would pick up that sound , pumps going off in the thickest off bush and you would wonder how the hell did they get that van up that hill ? I read in the previous post how to stop the noise , but I won...

I need a new GPS I notice that the Garmin and VMS either have Camps 6 pre loaded or available as a download. All I need to be able to do is plan a trip by putting waypoints on the map. Camps 6 pre loaded would mean I didn't have to do this, but does this facility warrant the cost over a cheaper GPS unit? Any thoug...

What do other small van owners use to solve their power problems. We have 15 foot poptop- and so space is a bit of a premium. Are considering getting some solar panels, but would a generator be the go? Has to be one or the other as there's no space for both. The only thing we would be powering would be microwa...

over time our van toilet has an acumalation of debris in the holding tank (I feel it has been cause by filling with creek water). No real problem apart from the odd black spec in the bowl qwhen flushing. I have been adding the toilet chemical to the holding tank with the hope that it will help clean it out bu...

My suburban hot water service has reduced water pressure. I have full pressure when using cold water? The hot water pressure is only half of what it used to be. Water temperature is ok. There is also a loud whistling noise coming from the taps when using the hot water. Can anybody help?. Rheo (John)

Hi all, I have been told that led lights use less electricity than the "normal" ones. We are only thinking of replacing the downlights at this time. As we are about to go solar is this a fact and what is the difference in usage between the two systems? Thanks in advance, Phil B.

A friend has finished a trip from Gippsland to Marpoon and back. The coaster held together well, but flat towing a Suzie was painful with the 1HZ motor. What is a good option for repowering. The gearbox is a M155 which we cannot find any info on. The diff is a A02A (3.727 :1) that much we know.

I enjoy making Power-point presentations of our trips, usually about 5 to 8,000 KB and have two queries: Firstly, is it possible to make them in such a way that other people can't alter them? I understand that when you receive one that anyone has access to change it around and make alterations the...
