Gday... Moved onto Miles (QLD) today - rain threatening so I thought I'd sit it out in a van park for today and tomorrow. People had warned me of the Leichardt Hwy between Theodore/Taroom/Miles. There are a few patches which some may find trying - but only about 2km in length at a time which are a bi...

Actually met two GN - lovely to meet Gerty Dancer and her man. Thank you for joining me for coffee this morning. It's always nice to put a face to a name - or at least the avatar. Now come to think of it you don't look a bit like that lovely puppy!!! But, again, lovely to meet you both. Sorry my hubby wasn't with...

My tongue in cheek thoughts are;· It was a great idea of Paul Keating, but I doubt if the how to micro steps to implement the project to benefit workers was ever thought through and drafted.· Not until employees are at least in their 40s do they look upon their superannuation as an ass...

I'm going to be in Bairnsdale for at least a week while I get some issues with my van dealt with. So is anyone around here? I'm at Michell Gardens CP - and a nicer, more helpful CP management team would be hard to find. Jayco have been pretty good to which makes a very pleasant change.

We decided to leave Johanna Beach a day early, so we're now in Anglesea. I've talked to Wendyv last night, and suggested if there are others around Melbourne who'd like to get together for a cuppa, I'd love to do that. We plan to base ourselves at Akoona Park at Berwick for several days, doing day trips...

Gday... Last night at Dululu for the night - not too bad - seen worse. No internet/mobile but only four of us there. Tonight at Theodore Junction Park - only one other camper - mobile/internet and HOT showers - not a very big area but better than van parks. I would not like to be in either in the 'peak season...

What do people do for a dump point when camped in The Otways area? We were at Johanna Beach Campground for 6 nights, doing day trips all over the area, and there was nowhere to dump our porta loos. There are only portable toilets at the beach itself, so no dumping there. We carted them all over the mountain...

Even though Victoria turned the heater up to 30 degrees today, it was perfect weather for photography. After 17 degrees yesterday, it was a bit of a shock to the system.
