With all this flooding on the road in Queensland not a good time to be traveling .The roads were just being fixed from the last flood every where we traveled last year road works were going on ,and some were long delays We usually travel in May I dont know about this year.

Not as cheap as the gravity light, but I thought that this was a very neat stove, not only does it boil 1 litre of water in 4 minutes, using only twigs, but also charges all those must have devices, while you wait for your meal to be cooked. http://biolitestove.com/ Cheers David

Just received an email from a friend with an article on keeping biting insects away, so simple they say to spray LISTERINE around ground, chairs & tables, I haven't tried it yet but going to have a go. Has anyone ever heard of this? I am lunch for all things that bite so heres hoping it works.

Tumby Bay's RV site has reduced the price off overnite says from $10 to $7.50 per nite ,it has a dump point ,water and the toilets are just metres away in the show ground. The locals have taken it over because they reckon the council charges were to costly ,well done to the locals
