Down at the Rosehill Caravan and Camping show. Looking at Mercedes or Iveco platform, most of them look fantastic on the outside, however I am not sure if my standards are too high, but the materials on the inside are not quality, hinges are poor, some cupboard doors dont line up and material cheap with...

Disc Bowls. It looks like the only current makers are Disc bowls International.
(Preview)
There were earlier makers and their plastic discs were approved by the CMCA. The current ones on the market are OK to use- but the drawback is the the length of the boss (the centre piece with the hole) It protrudes too far which makes it difficult to pick up 3 or 4 discs in one hand at the end of each head. Bad...

Some years past when I began to plan and consider my future nomad life one of the things which occurred was hair and beard cutting - I have short examples of both. i loath either of them becoming too long because they both irritate and make me feel the heat excessively but I do not wish to drive 200km simply...

Sorry but this is a bit long. Just read about water theft in the GN Times. A couple of years ago, during drought, I stayed behind the Bucca Q Pub for a few days. I was set up near the water tank. One morning an elderly couple with a huge van pulled in next to the tank. Started filling their tank until the pump cu...

I'm trying to establish optimum tyre pressures for my caravan so the first thing I did was to identify its tyres: Maxtrek, Sierra S6, LT235/75 R15 10PR 116/113S This seems to decode as: Light Truck - 235 width - 75% height - Radial - 15" rim - ?? - ???
