Morning all (Ive asked on another form but no direct answers)I have a 2011 NA Big Red 19. Have been trying to get reception for some time, then looked on the roof and found what appears to be an old break, right where the cable exits the roof of the van. jockey wheels used in conjunction with purpleline moovers

Wondered what type of jockey wheels that people are using with caravan moover like the purple line . Have a 4 degree upward slope to garage. About 3 meters of compacted gravel to concrete. Moovers work well. Jockey wheel cannot handle the weight despite being a steel center 8 inch ark wheel.

Dual Batteries in new tug
(Preview)
Hi all, I have recently purchased a new tug (Mazda BT50) to tow my 23' van. The van is coming with dual solar and dual batteries to allow us to go off grid. The question I have is, should I invest the dollars and have a second battery installed in the vehicle or just run it as it sits. It needs to go to an auto e...

Possum3
(Preview)
Because I had noticed that our esteemed member, Possum3, had not posted for some time I decided to phone to check on him. Turns out that he has recently had quite a run of bad luck with a storm sending a "20 ton" tree crashing through the roof of the house he was living in, South of Sydney., destroying it....

We're in the process of buying a campervan and having second thoughts about the drive train. 2WD v 4WD v AWD. I'd really appreciate some thoughts from members. To put things into context and as some background. The Vehicle. We are committed to a campervan (like avatar) rather than larger motorhome...

Fitting Curtains to ARTV Windows
(Preview)
We ordered a made to order van last year and opted for the Aussie Traveller Euro ATRV windows. My wife wanted to fit curtains the same as what she had done in our previous van. We reckon that curtains with lining can be an advantage when you want to leave your windows open at night without using the blind as...

Firstly, a confession, I'm not a Grey Nomad (only 38yo and still working fulltime) but do hope to be one in the future and am in need of a friendly Grey Nomad. We took some advice to get our caravan and then get a car to suit which we've done, but I need to move the caravan from Somers to my front lawn in Nunawa...

Wikicamp Reviews
(Preview)
Does anyone else enjoy browsing thru Wikicamp locations reviews? It highlights the differences in peoples expectations of what a decent campsite should be. Some glampers seem to have an aversion to a bit of dust, a few ants or a flock of birds waking them up in the morning. Has anyone explained to them...

Ceramic Coating on Campervan - Don't Laugh
(Preview)
I only heard of ceramic coatings the other day. I think it was that great story by Ivan about the guy washing his car 8 times in the caravan park. Then I watched video today with Justin from 'Trip in a Van' on Youtube, talking about his new customised LC. Jeez he spent a lot on it. And he had it ceramic coate...

Must've looked suss?
(Preview)
Not sure where I got this picture but thought that it may interest those who claim that authorities weigh only cars that look overloaded! This car (BT50?) certainly would attract attention although the rear of the car seems to be sitting higher than you'd expect. WDH? Cheers

Daft Question Maybe - New Campervan Decals
(Preview)
Sorry if this sounds like a weird thoughts/question. If I buy a new Campervan (not MH or Caravan) I'm thinking of asking them not to put the decals on it. You know, the stripes and builders name and all that stuff. Winnebago, KEA whatever. I'd rather just have a plain white van, that blends in a bit mor...
