Stayed at Jugiong show grounds on Monday night, great spot right by the river , flat ground, quiet and peaceful .............donation box which we contributed to, have to keep places like this going, also dump point, toilets and showers, a very big thumbs up.

Pulled in here this morning for 1 night. $25.00 for a powered site for 2 people. Park is well laid out, showers and toilets first class so is the laundry. I had lots of laundry to catch up on. Dump point also, although I didn't ask the charge if you are not staying at the CP. Highly recommended.

The petrol pajero is going to be to heavy on fuel, so new bus might be on the cards, can afford but didn't want too . Anyway have a 09 Colorado to look at in sydney next week when we get there. No I will not be telling u what I'm getting but it's not good by a long shot, worse than I thought it would be towing a 2500...

Hi Campers, I bought one of those mats that do not track dirt indoors (c-gear or something like that?) it was discussed on the forum just recently. It absolutely PONGS!!! Was reading the Nomad news about Warrnambool vic and that got me thinking about caravan parks at Emerald qld, last time we were up that way the only camping seemed to be near the bridge so we moved on to Saffire. (not that that was a bad move) As we intend to be heading that way shortly, would anyone have a...

I have a faulkener that needs replacing. I have a choice 1.replace the awning only. 2.replace awning and roller. 3. replace the whole lot. Now my problem is cost and finding a good work shop in Perth to do the work at a reasonable price. The whole lot is 15 years old. So far I have had a quote for $1500 fo...

Hello all, I joined the forum in Jan 2013 before heading off on what turned into a 7 month trip. Back at home in Tasmania atm. Thinking of heading off in July for a few months. What a sad day, knowing the great, the one and only Richie Benaud has passed away today. Summer just won't be the same without Richie's thoughtful commentary. May he rest in peace.

Just a general question. Are there plenty of either caravan parks or free stays with lots of travelers staying overnight in this stretch and would you need to carry extra fuel or are the servos close enough not to have to worry about it. We don't like to travel for too long in a day.

Hi folks, Next year (April 2016) we couple of 74 year old intrepid geriatrics want to saddle up again but this time for a 4 -5 month journey to escape the Tasmanian Winter to travel from Melbourne to Perth and all points north. We have just spent a week come Monday camped at Corryong on the Rec Reserve/Golf Course, and I have to say this is one of the best run festivals we have ever attended, it got virtually washed out last year but the weather has been superb this time. Corryong is a town of about 1500 people but during the festi...
