Getting Itchy Feet Again

Hello all,

I joined the forum in Jan 2013 before heading off on what turned into a 7 month trip.  Back at home in Tasmania atm.  Thinking of heading off in July for a few months.  North to Longreach via Dubbo, Lightning Ridge and places in between then perhaps to the coast before heading into NSW and ACT.

Would be interested to hear from others who may have covered some of this territory before with tips, advice etc or perhaps anyone interested in tagging along for all/part of the way.  Would enjoy the company.

Cheers

Wayne

smileGreat area, did the trip from Perth , Port Augusta,  Broken Hill, avoid Wilcannia after sunset, Cobar, Bourke , excellent CP, I think it was called the Oasis ,Lightning Ridge, st Geaorge to Mitchell direct, Charleville...great Steakhouse Restaurant, thru to Tambo, onto Blackall...had a great time at the old pub on the right driving thru, camped free out the back for the night, Barcaldine....so historic. Illfracombe CP nice CP and Longreach.  Great trip, some average road surfaces after Port Augusta, but a great trip.
