I spoke with Telstra to firstly, try to suspend my account and pay a nominal fee for keeping the service,(no joy there) and secondly I do have...

To cover or not cover?
(Preview)
After protecting our caravan from the elements for several years and finding that wind and sun virtually destroy the cover in 2 years and can potentially scratch corners of the van and set up wear spots, is it worth the trouble? I ask this question since we now have a 21ft motorhome with paint protect...

Kangaroo Island
(Preview)
we are setting off on our long awaited trip at the end of this month. Would like to visit Kangaroo Island. Does anyone have thoughts about accommodation on the island. Should we take our motorhome or leave it on the mainland and stay in a hotel and how long should we stay there? Thank you for your help.

I note the story on the Grey Nomad news re the the re-furbishment of the ferries. They state that passenger bookings are up some 15%. I would venture to say that their bookings would be up a lot more if the rate for caravans was not so high.
