RE: Izuzu MUX Owners Be Aware

Jus ignore the knockers, Young Simmo.......many of us enjoy the fact that 1) you are one of the few who put up new posts 2) comment on others posts 3) your posts and comments are lively and great - never anything nasty.

Ignore the negative people mate, and stay here and have lots to say :)

Isn't it wonderful my MU-X not only has a soft rear end, but also has made me very aware.

I love it, it's the best and most comfortable tow vehicle I've ever owned, sits nice and level towing my 21ft Sterling, has heaps of power to spare and is very economical fuel wise, and guess what? Prior to purchasing this vehicle I discussed its merits with the dealer in regard to towing a 2.5 ton van, who assured me that their generic tow kit will handle it, and that there were no problems with fitting a load distributing device. Nor is there any mention of not using such an device when towing in the owners handbook.

Obviously someone has a dislike for the Isuzu vehicles and seems to be hellbent on creating misshief.

Like I hinted to in my previous post on this subject that the claims being made are so damn ridiculous that it comes across as an first of April fools day joke.

Cheers, Tom

 Hi Tom

I couldn't agree more with your comments. If the vehicle (original post) sags 75mm with 150kg ball download, what does it do if there's 5 people in the rear seats, possibly upwards of 500kg.

Cheers Pete

 Agree Same here.

So what was said to offend the the poster !  and cause them to Spit the Dummy. I am still missing the  relevant bit that offended Simmo.

It never bothers me if people want to not post or be part  an online forum anymore   I certainly don't lose any sleep over it.

Thanks wasn_me, and elliemike,  You have just reminded me that I am dealing with old brains which are like old cars.
Some old cars wear out the tyres which is easy to fix, and some wear out the engine which is a CALAMITY.
From now on I will only reply to those who need new windscreen wiper blades.

Anybody agree with me?

Or have I mixed up worn out engines, with worn out wiper blades?

Welcome back.

What was it that offended you in this discussion on "Weight Distribution Hitches"   I am just interested to know as I cant actually see what the implied "Pull your Head in" was about in any of the posts ?

Mike

Actually elliemike, nothing has offended me as my skin is too thick to get offended. I just try to give back what I get, with a bit extra. Also I haven't been any where, I just had to leave the computer for a while and do the Cooking, Washing, Floor sweeping and Vacuuming. Still have to do the shopping so might have to take another hour off.
Also Childish waffle like that below, is stuff people write when they can't make an intelligent, interesting, worthwhile comment.
On top of that, if you want me out of here, get a moderator to kick me out.

Buy the way this isn't a WDH or a VTL, it is a HSC

I use air bags inflated at 25 psi and this works great for me towing a 1700kg sterling

Upgrading to a 19ft new age manta ray next week (2200 kg) will keep you guys posted.

Goodness gracious - what is going on here??????? How can a post about Weight Distribution Hitches turn so bitchy! Young Simmo is trying to be what some others aren't - a bit of fun, with a bit of sarcasm, - the forum needs more of this - why be so serious?  This is what we all need -

Yes jules47, I used to believe that the older we get the wiser we get, lately I am starting to wonder if the opposite applies. Just some other people of course, I won't dare say any names.
Simmo.

IMHO what really happens when people get older is that they revert to the character they were when they were very young.

An annoying little sh## when they were young? .......... An iritating old sh##.

A nasty piece of work when they were young? .......... I think you get the drift. The civilized years in between seem to be just that, the bit in between when people kept themselves under more control because their life circumstances required it.

Stupid part is, most people do not realise or recognize that this is what is happening to them.
