Just wondered if people are considering changing over to projectors for watching tv rather than having a fixed unit inside their vans. There are some great pico projectors out there now, very small, take up little room, work in daylight hours because of hi lumens and as far as I'm concerned far more...

Hello all, I am now completely self contained and nice and snug after having gas heating and solar panels installed. On these long cold chilly nights it would be nice to be able to turn the TV on, if only for a bit of company. Unfortunately there aren't many free camp sites where a TV signal is availabl...

This refers to homes as well as vans. Those hoses that we buy these days to provide water to kitchen, bathroom taps & toilet cisterns should be replaced each 5 years according to a Tnsv plumber. Not sure how many people would be interested in this. I personally don't mind checking out inner cities, places like Darlinghurst in Sydney or The Valley up in Brisbane. Hi folks Banglabill here asking how do I remove a skylight from the roof of my 2012 Bushmaster bluegum caravan I can see the name REGIS on the plastic cover but I cannot see any visible screws to get the thing off the roof so I can seal it, it is the one over the bed. I think they'll be a few more of these "option" questions before I'm done. Snowy River offer the option of a ceramic toilet over the standard plastic (I think) one. Although the ceramic will be heaver it will, I suspect, be easier to keep clean especially over the longer term. When used and cleaned dail...

A heads-up for anyone planning to stay at a CP in Mt Isa. Thieves are targeting them and I was a victim over the weekend after I was away from the bus for 45 minutes. Gday... We are all aware that the modern trend is to force the fitment of greywater tanks to vans as a result of the crowding that occurs at many rest stops used as camping spots, particularly when the surface at those rest areas is 'hard stand'. Due to the crowding by travellers at unsuitable (for campi...

I'm sure someone has already scoped this out before. Are there any vans (not caravan) which will fit a full size bed widthways rather than lengthways? On Redbook the Transit seem to be the widest but the measurement includes the mirrors. Internally, they weren't as wide as I was hoping.
