Well........G'day all

Firstly, thanks for allowing me onto the site and forums.

I am 65 yrs of age and retired almost 6 years ago.  Since then have enjoyed travelling around the world, BUT before you all scream at me and say "See Oz first" I will add that I have owned a Jayco Swan Pop Out  for many years and when the kids were younger the GLW and I would load them up and off we would go for several weeks at a time exploring various parts of this great country.  Places like Alice, SA, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane and down the east coast back to Melbourne with a few shorter trips in between.

All the above being said, I convinced the GLW that it was time to upgrade the Jayco to something a little bigger and easier to setup, something that I can simply open the door of and walk inside and turn on a kettle, without the need to spend 30 minutes winding up a roof and pulling out bed ends.  So this brings me to the upgrade, which is due for delivery in early November.  A 23 Ft Fair Dinkum Aussie built van purchased at the Mornington Caravan Show in March.  Off course  a bigger van  also means having to obtain a bigger car as my Kia Sportage does not have the capacity to tow the new van.  Oh well.....It's only money  :(

I hope to see you all out on the roads at some time in the not terribly distant future.  Till then stay safe, Keep calm, Keep well and drive carefully.

Welcome to the gang David, enjoy here and out in the playground.

You are forgiven about going OS as everyone does it their own way. As you say, you have traveled parts of OZ as well so all good. Me, I choose not to go OS, my choice. That said, I did sneak OS a few times now and visited Tassie :)

Just be careful when you get your new Aluminium Tent as you might get lost due to being so much bigger.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
