The new recruit was nearly a new customer.
A friend of mine worked in a hospital morgue. He said that sometimes the dead would sit up and moan. Apparently it was rigor mortis setting in and the moan came from the air being pushed out of the lungs when the body bends forward. It really freaked him out the first time it happened.
