Greens lake

Hi been here for a while now and first actual post so please be kind . Can handle a bit of a ribing - as to the post my partner and I are looking at overnighting a greens lake near  ShepParton on the way to Albury and we are wondering if it is open and anyone is there.  Thank you in advance. Les

Welcome to GN's Les,
Greens Lake has it's own Forum Entry (page) many on here contribute and are regulars to GL. So I will leave the comments to those who are regular visitors.

Welcome to the gang Les, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Go to the Get Together section of the forum and you will see the GreenS Lake sub forum. All the info needed and pics too. Enjoy.

Yes, it is open but water level way down or should that be way out?

My only advice is that if it's been raining be real careful. That black mud is pretty bad.

Hi Leslie and welcome.

Seeing that you are already on this blog let me tell you that Greens is open as are all the facilities.

A few camping here at the moment.

The entry road has just been graded.

As mentioned earlier keep off the DIRT sections and stay on the all weather gravel areas in the vicinity of the boat ramp and a bit Westward.

Have a drive around and you will see the best spots.

No, the Greens Lake sometimes discussed on this forum is about 60km NE Bendigo.

I stayed there for 10 days once but too crowded for my liking and especially so on weekends with the expected contingent of less than well behaved people.
