Athur, wanted desperately to be a hit man for the Mafia so he approached the boss and asked him for a job. The boss says "You have to prove that you are good enough. Go out and kill these two men with your bare hands. And just to make it a hit, here's a dollar."
Arthur is pleased that he has a chance to join the Mafia. He knows that the dollar is just token money and he'll be well rewarded next time. That night he strangles both men, but he gets caught red handed with the second guy.
