Have to say this forum has pretty much turned into a venue for smut, poor taste and foul language.

There are theories about people regressing to childish behaviour as they age, perhaps this is proof.

I'm not a prude, I enjoy a witty joke as much as anyone, very little wit displayed here any more.confuse

We have been to the Naples museum the jokes & artefacts of Pompeii make this site look pretty tame.

Heard and seen worse in schools both high and primary and thats only in the staff rooms. There are warnings put on the jokes that may offend the sensitive, if the warnings are not heeded, whos to blame.

I just don't open any posts from the 3 main "joke" posters. Does have the slight disadvantage that on those very, very rare occasions that they have something to say that is remotely relevant to the grey nomads lifestyle, I miss it.

I agree Santa. And very brave of you to even mention some of the garbage that is posted on this page. Stand by for the avalanche of defensive replies. Maybe.
On the introduction and welcome page to the forum, posted are warned not to cross the line, but that has been forgotten completely.
There are plenty of ways to access that stuff, without introducing it onto what started out as a site for good natured banter.

Case in point, the museum is home to The Great Wall of Vagina, 151 porcelain vulvas sculpted from real women. Another notable work in its inaugural exhibition is the infamous poo machine, Wim Delvoye's Cloaca Professional, a machine which turns food into excrement.

Yes I think it is a bit fowl some of the posts, more relegated to a bunch of builders morning tea, not where young people  and women might be able to see, but on the other hand, as their are mainly only 3 posting all the time, we would see about 85% less jokes if they didn't post.

Don't understand the bleating and moaning about the content of the jokes page.If you regularly are offended with the contributions,perhaps you would be better to opt out and buy the "Womens' Day" or something eqully inoffensive,surely? Cheers

this forum is still headed in the same way it always has.
One section, which has a warning , is enjoyed by the VAST majority that read it and you are not compelled to read it. So if it offends just skip it and enjoy the rest of the forum that as always has o lot of good information .
