I have a 2006 24 feet Jayco Sterling Caravan, recently it started to drip water thru the town water inlet when free camping or when parked up ,I do not know if it drips while driving .it does it with a full tank or less, with the pump turned of or on ,when I turn the pump off and it drips I open the tap on the drawbar and release what ever water is in the pipe, it stops dripping for a couple of minutes and then starts again.
I have blown compressed air thru the breather hose thinking it maybe blocked , but it still drips .
I hope some one may have had the same problem and will be able to advise me what to do to fix the problem
Water leaks can be hard to determine origins sometimes as it may be running along the pipe and dripping away from the actual source. You are going to have to lie on your back under the van and feel all along your water line from the tank - use a Paper towel to rub along tubing it will become very soggy as soon as source is found - most likely the actual leak is where the fill tube is attached to the tank. Cause may be a hit from a rock or branch or simply vibration loosening the joint.

I am confused - the water inlet point would be the highest point other than taps in bathroom and kitchen I would then surmise water is coming from the plumbing lines in bathroom or kitchen (higher than main inlet) and to do so there would have to be an air ingress that allows gravity to overcome vacuum in what would normally be a sealed system.

I had same problem, water dripping from draw bar attachment, it's the one way valve broken, easy fix, any hardware will have valve replacement, costing around $20 takes around 8 minutes to fix, cheers

The Town water inlet is connected to a John Guest 15mm black hose pipe ,i was thinking of putting a non return vale in that line, but where can i get a non return valve for a 15 mm John Guest hose pipe with John Guest fittings ?
I had same problem a year ago, locate under sink behind the hose connection point on outside of van, there will be 2 or 3 pipes coming away from plastic mounting plate where they are mounted is a non return valvein line with town water pipe it is to prevent water running/leaking out of the connection where you would connect hose for town water. Jayco sell the little culprit. Ring them tell them model of van and yr chassis number and they can put in the mail or if yr close call in . Further explanation when water pump is running it can push water backup pipe .
