I walked into the bush, as a firefighter , at Nowendoc, some years ago, to inspect how bad the fire front was, and I could smell the familiar scent of fresh dope, was looking around for it, then thought I should look up. There was a 40-50 foot tall tree, that was a cannabis tree, not a bush, but a tree, with an almost a 15 inch thick trunk that look like a plane tree trunk. All the lower branches were missing, for about 10 feet up. I did not report it, as it would have been destroyed in the fire. I did not have a camera p-hone with me, but from then on I carried a camera with me for just these oddities, that I could find when out on the firefront.
This was in rain forest, which by the way was burnt to a crisp over 10,000 acres, of wet forest, that had dried somewhat that year. It could have been self sown, or intentionally put there, but it did look like a male, which are known to grow into tree form , if left alone.
