solar electronics check up

We have a couple of solid, hinged solar panels that have worked really well in the past. After a long break due Covid we recently went away with friends and had some problems with the electronics generally. During investigation my friend put his multimeter on the panels and said they weren't working (not producing any output).

I'm not sure how thorough he tried them, but would like to get a qualified person to check them out to determine if they are fried or can be repaired (with the circuitry of the panels??). We're in lower Blue Mountains but happy to travel a little. Any suggestions?

There is a Jaycar in Katoomba, you can get a cheap multimeter.

Better still, a DC clamp meter. I wouldn't be in the outback without one.
