Found the Forum

Hi nomads,

I recently stumbled onto the forum and have been reading through many topics.

I like the joke section. There are some good ones in there.

Vehicle types and Caravan weights are entertaining as well.

I am a retired mechanical fitter and have driven trucks and heavy haulage throughout my career.

My partner and I are about to hit the road so to speak but will only travel Qld until interstate travel becomes more certain and predictable. We have enjoyed camping and now caravanning and are looking forward to being out there without having to return for work.

Thank you for allowing me to join the group.

Stu

Welcome to the gang Stu, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I'm not sure if I would call the weights threads 'entertaining' Stu. Maybe some do but not me sorry. My weights are all under listed weights so that's enough for me.

I wouldn't call myself a crazy driver either just crazy biggrin

Sometimes confuse

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Hi Doug thank you for the welcome mate.
My thoughts on the caravan weight was mentioned with tongue in cheek.
You stay safe as well in your travels.

G'day Stu,
Welcome to the GN's, I have a habit of lurking around the whole Grey Nomads site - there are many interesting little side trips other than just the Forum's - The trouble on here can be that Tongue in cheek subtlety is like catching buses - everybody doesn't get it.
