Does anyone remember ...?

I used to watch a 'travel' show about 15 years ago about an older couple caravaning around Australia. They were both characters - but he was the face of the show. Each episode featured a different destination. He gave lots of tips on everything from maintenance, to safety and always cooked up a great meal. At the end of the day it was happy hour when he and his partner always enjoyed a tipple! I think their van had a name too. It was a great show and I would love to try to track down some episodes to watch again.

Welcome to the gang YoungGun, enjoy here and out in the playground.

You MIGHT be talking about Clyde & Charmaine Camel. You can find there videos on 'CaravanCaravan'. I found them a little boring sorry so haven't bothered for a very long time. I did a search for you to track them down. There is another couple that made a couple of videos a few years back but I think they were mainly about caravan/ing tips.

This GN Website a book about travel and setting up etc.

Edit....I just remembered the other couple.....Grey Nomad 101. I think they are on Facebook?

Note:  I hope this is OK Cindy, sorry if not.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Thank you so much, but its not the one I'm looking for. I seem to remember watching on a Foxtel channel like Aurora. They were very basic but obviously made for tv. Thanks all the same. I'll keep trying to find them. Cheers.

Cuppa and Mrs Tea, in the Member's Blogs, is definitely worth having a look at - I have learned so much interesting stuff from following their blogs.
