Newbie with IMAX

edit:

IMAX = Hyundai H1 Imax (also called Starex in some other places)

IMAX = Family version of Hyundai Iload

Hi all,

This my attempt to find out if van life is for me (or I'm just full of it :)

I'm renting so decided to keep first attempts simple (without costing an arm & a leg)

I org wanted an Iload but manage to get an Imax semi cheap at the auctions.

I want to gut it and make it multipurpose modular (carrier, weekender, back into bike riding, etc)

Found this site awhile back and kept popping for a read (now registered :)

I havent found much on Iloads & Imax (but I did find https://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/t56888097/camping-sleeper-hyundai-imax-work-in-progress/?page=1&sort=oldestFirst ) and some generic pics online

As I gut, change things I thought I keep some pics here for my reference and others that might be interested (sooooo hard to find on the internet)

If not allowed please advise, also which section of the forum should I use.

Welcome to the gang MungoTheB, enjoy here and out in the playground.

The only Imax I know of is the big curved screen place. You will look a bit strange driving around with that on the back biggrin As a little hint, keep your 3D glasses clean, much better viewing that way smile One thing for sure you will be well entertained and I tell you that for free biggrin

Sorry, I could hold back on that one.

Double sorry, I haven't heard of the Imax you are really referring to.

Keep Safe out there everyone.

Hi MungoTheB

Welcome, I would be inclined to put progress of your fit out in the "Show Us Your Rig" section (where you found the imax pics

Cheers
