Hi Smithy,

I have all snail mail sent to my daughter, she takes a pic of it on her phone and sends to me. If important I get her to send to a Post Office of my choice. I supplied her with pre-paid xpress post packs. Two different sizes. Has worked for me now for 6 years being full time on road.

All my mail has always gone to my PO Box never to my residential address. When I was travelling Fulltime I used to stop somewhere I like and had a one off mail redirection from my PO Box to the Caravan Park I am staying or to any family or friends I would be visiting.
Worked for me.

We have a very good neighbour who loves to feed our "Fishy" and raid any veggies or fruit or flowers we may have in our garden.
We redirect our mail to her, provide her with several prepaid and addressed track able mail bags and she posts off any of our stuff at the required time to the required place.
In return we take her to lunch several times a year and she is very happy to be useful when over 80 years of age.

Cheers Ian

First thing is to do all you can to reduce mail. Most bills can be paid by direct debit or online. We use a PO. Box address & good friends have a key & check whenever they go to collect their own mail. Once in a while we ask them to open a letter & send us a photo of the contents, but this is rare. Even rarer is the need for them to forward something to us, perhaps twice in the past 3+ years we have been away. On occasions when they take off for a while in their motorhome we have a similar arrangement with the lady who runs the small sub post office where our PO.Box is, having given her the necessary written permission & a small kitty to cover any forwarding should it ever become necessary.

I should add that we do buy a fair bit online from time to time, but mostly wait until we secure an address it can be posted to - we house-sit. Alternatively we have it sent post rest ante to a post office, but try to avoid this where possible as it ties is down to a time frame & route.
