Every time I try and watch a video in the just joking section by clicking on the link posted the video wont load...just has a triangle with a bar through it. Think I am missing out on some good stuff here. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Des
Yes it is only to this forum of the forums that I am on.
There is a work around but it involves loading a program onto a computer and then configuring it from there to be able to be viewed.
It is something to do with iTunes which I do not need on my iPad.
It is on my apple laptop but I rarely use the laptop as it is generally inconvenient.
It is funny that my Brother in Law sent me the video on Messenger and I can view it without problems on this iPad but I can not copy it or get a link to share it to anyone except those on my Messenger list.
There is also another problem I have with IPad on this forum is that punctuations like inverted commas etc do not appear in the finished post even though Inhave typed them. The only punctuations that seem to work are based commas and full stops.
I have downloaded and installed VLC and another video player but to no avail with the MP 4 links on this site.
I am resigned to the fact that I will eventually see most funny vids on Facebook or by someone forwarding them to me in watchable format.
If you hold the quote button or comma button down for a couple of seconds, you will get a list to choose from. On memory, the middle one works.
I don't know the correct terminology, but on an iPad this punctuation symbol ' (apostrophe?) is achieved by briefly holding down the button that is immediately to the left of the button that has a question mark and a full stop on it,in the bottom right side corner of the board. Holding down the button that has a question mark and a full stop on it creates this "........." symbol.(Quotation marks?) Cheers

This may be a simple work around for us IPad users if the description in the topic is close to the video subject.
