Solar panel


Can someone advise me hoow to check if my solar panel is charging the house battery, i have a battery tester. How low can the battery run down before it is renderes useless. Ted

Thanks for the information.

Multimeter readings are

20.5 on controller

13.5 volts on battery

12.2 on charger panel.

I will continue investigating as per the post info you provided.

I bought a powertech digital meter with anderson plugs OR buy with aligator clips and you connect onto leads coming from solar panel/s this then allows you to see how much power is being generated from panel/s . Like wise can use on leads that supply charge to battery from solar regulator. 

Jaycar sell them tell them what you need to do  and or yr problem they are help full. good luck
