In came I saw I left

Well I just popped in to check youse all out because I used to be a member some years ago and I couldn't get my old thingy working so I appear as a newbie.

My caravanning days are coming to a close.

My wife and I over the last few years have shifted from Wollongong to Tumut and travelled a fair bit mostly around NSW and Vic.  Last year we moved to Yeppoon in Central QLD

If you are not familiar with Yeppoon, this is what you are missing out on ...

Over the years we have had two caravans and three tow vehicles.  Our current rig is an 18ft Concept caravan towed by a diesel AWD Territory. If you look in the for sale section you will find it there.

Unfortunately, my eyesight is failing, especially my distance vision.  The specialist in Rocky wants to wait a bit longer before operating on my eyes but it has got to the stage where I need to hang up the spurs so to speak.

We had our last trip down to Bundaberg and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

There is always a cuppa on at our place in Yeppoon, or Yap-Hoon as I call it - you can check me out on FB https://www.facebook.com/ian.cavanough

PS I dunno why two pics of Yap-Hoon come up

Welcome from me also, nothim

As Doug above has already said, hope that you still get out and about, even without a caravan

I have never been to Yeppoon, so I ask a question

Am I looking at rocks along the beach front, or just seaweed?

A beautiful spot to live Nothim. Another piece of paradise in Central Queensland. Hope your health improves.
