New Old Timers

Hi all, we are Bob and Jayne from Bridgetown WA, some call it Fridgetown in winter, about 250 k south of Perth. Love seeing all your pics and reading about the different camping spots, we prefer to free camp as much as possible.

Thought about joining a Caravan Club to meet a few nomads, what do you think?

Hopefully we will meet some of you on the road.

Cheers

GN's is the only club you'll need (and it's free).
If you are into Free Camping I assume you have a copy of Camps book www.campsaustraliawide.com/
and have a copy of Wikicamps on your device www.wikicamps.com.au/
Any caravan info you need see www.caravancouncil.com.au/

Welcome, Bob & Jane

Welcome to the gang Bobdown, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Any relation to Idadown confuse

I agree, this place is all ya need to meet some great people as most are very nice people indeed and I tell you that for free.

Make sure you keep an eye open in the 'Get Together' section to see where some of us might be hanging out or just put up a post the general area you might be hanging out in. That has worked for me now for many moons.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Thanks for that.

We were not sure about Caravan Clubs as they use caravan parks a lot and not interested in large annual musters, but handy to catch up with others going to the same places.

We are planning to go North at the end of May, so will do some posts then.

Cheers Bobdown

G'day Bob and Jane and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  Sounds like you know what you are doing.
