Divorce Court.

A woman was in court regarding her pending divorce.

Trying to sort everything out, the judge asked her a series of questions.

What are the grounds for your divorce? he asked.

About four acres and a nice little home in the middle of the property with a lake running by.

No, the judge replied. I mean what are the foundations of this case?

Its made of concrete and brick, the woman said.

No, the judge said again. What are your relations like?

I have an aunty and an uncle living here in my town and my husbands mum and dad also live here.

No, the judge sighed. Do you have a real grudge?

I dont, the woman said. But we have a two-car carport.

The judge, who started to get very angry at this point, began to think harder about his questions.

Is there any infidelity in your marriage? he asked.

Yes. Both my son and daughter have stereo sets. We dont necessarily like the music, but yes is the answer to your question.

The judge paused again and thought even harder about his next question.

Does your husband ever beat you up? he finally asked.

He sure does, the woman replied. About twice a week he gets up earlier than I do.

The judge was extremely angry at this point and asked one final question.

Lady, why exactly do you want a divorce?

Oh, I never said I wanted a divorce, she replied. But my husband does.

He said he finds it hard to communicate with me.
