Gday...

It is interesting, given the history of the forum, but I would like to think Cindy will moderate consistently.

The forum may have moved on, and those who victimised the twins are no longer on the forum, but consistency should always apply.

Or perhaps the twins could be allowed to be brought back from their isolation at Byron Bay.

cheers - John

I would have thought that it may have been forum courtesy to report to the Admin / Mod if you consider a post is of concern, rather than enter your views on the open page.

Cindy may not have read this post yet.......

Gday...

I get ya drift Dickodownunder. However, you weren't a member of the forum at the time of the 'twins' episode. That is not of consequence, it is just that the history is not available to you.

That notwithstanding, I am not, and I doubt Kaid is either, expressing any concern to the post - rather that the moderation of some content, which is purview of the moderator, needs to be consistent as much as it can be.

I am pretty sure Cindy has yet to view this post. She may decide there is no need for moderation, or review of any previous decisions.

Again, that is most definitely within the purview of Cindy - whose adjudication I accept.

cheers - John

As always, every one is entitled to your view John....there was no dissent, however your post should now manage to create some....Hoo Roo

Gday...

I think only one person way back in the "twins episode" was 'dissenting' - but the outcome was personally damaging as a result to one member. There was considerable support for the retention of the twins but to no avail.

Anyway, it is just, in all things moderated, there needs to be consistency. It has not been evident in very recent years.

Cheers - stay well and keep finding colour - John

[edit: the only outcome of this thread is that my time as a member on the forum may be somewhat curtailed hmm]

I can not see what how long anyone has been a member has got to do with this it is just common courtesy to the forum admin

that if a member needs to mention forum adjudication then it should be done directly to the admin or moderator and not on the open forum.

Your reply above, might have read better as an apology and your action may have been more suitable to report it privately.

Simple, if YOU consider the post offensive, report it, if the post in YOUR opinion is not in line with other adjudications then report it, but dont come out on the open forum and criticise admin and their actions particularly when you do not know that admin have not actually viewed the post.

My membership time on here in your quote above amounts to nothing but a deliberate distraction.

We are not allowed to joke on this forum,
It may upset one of the members and that is taboo.
