Hey Mezza, if it is the plastic bit then you will not notice once repaired, our CRV suffered a a three panel little dingle on the plastic rear end. Looks like new now. But a sad thing all the same. cheers Craig

Don't wing. 6 weeks after picking up my new Triton. Some kid ran into it with a trail bike while it was parked in a park and just pissed off leaving me with the bill. Little barstards.

Pick up an almost new vehicle many, many years ago and didn't even have it 24 hours and an old bloke with dementia took a big groove out of both left doors. He didn't even know he'd hit me.

In the early 50s an old neighbour Charlie bought a brand new Holden. Because his property was a granite mountain 500' high he would park at the entrance and walk all over the 300 acres checking sheep etc. My Dad had a large Heroford bull who had gotten out of the paddock and was on the road. He comes along this shiny new car and could see his reflection in it. He butted EVERY panel on the neighbours car!!! The Holden agency asked him what happened and all Charlie could say was "Lens bull". My Dad's name was Lin but with the old guy's accent it came out as "Lens bull" biggrin

Aussie Paul. smile

My son earlier this year took his car in to have the brakes serviced, went back to pick it up, walked into the office , guy on the phone, Son says I have come to pick up my car and the chap says I don't think that will be possible I am on the phone to the guy who took it for a test drive and he has just rolled the car and thinks it is a write off. Which it was. Few thousand dollars later and an insurance claim he now has a new car but was a bit of a shock, not what you expect when you take a car in for a service

Hi Mezzer,

Same in 2012. had my 200GX two and a half weeks.

I was Driving in kerb lane with Government bus in outside lane next to me. A driver with a three hour working lunch just finished, drove through a stop sign on my left.

With no way to avoid him. ABS could not save the day.

Asked My Insurer to go halves in a bull bar. No was the answer cause one had not been fitted prior.

Sooooo they replaced the front bumper. Then ARB chopped into a brand new bumper to fit Steel Bull Bar and side rails there after.

And you wonder why our premiums keep going up.furious

What a bummer! Try looking on the bright side she'll be all fixed up soon!

Saw a brand spanking new BT50 around the corner from our house while we were on our morning walk, front drivers side mudguard & door caved in. Ouch!!!

At least the guy owned up and didn't bugger off.
Had a 6 week old Prado damaged in car park by a bloke (in his 60's) with a 100 series Landcruiser scrape his bullbar down the side and bugger off leaving a note saying "just leaving this in case someone saw me". We saw him from afar but couldn't get there quick enough.
Not nice

Yep, I'd be depressed too, and angry, and every other emotion possible.  Hope the repairs are good.
