Green lake is known for it windy conditions.

We are currently camped alongside Broadwater Lake about 30 klms out of Dalby Queensland.

Yesterday and today would just about equal the wind velocity of Green Lake.

Rain and strong winds.

Seems to be the norm at the moment in southern / western on the Darling Downs in  Queensland.

I am sure that when it is nice and sunny it would be as good as Green Lake.

I have been travelling down from Dalby. Now arrived at Lightening Ridge bypassing Broadwater because the forecast was for rain and more rain around the Darling Downs area so changed my plans to come more inland.
Unfortunately the nasty weather has followed me causing me to wonder if anywhere is having calm whether at the moment.
Bowenville, Westmar, Bunyunga, Thallom and now Lightening Ridge have all been horrendous.
In fact I'm looking forward to finall reaching Greens to experience the beautiful weather my daughter in Echuca has been telling me about.

Top of 32c today up here "Happy Wanderer" , unfortunately tomorrow 10 -15 mills of rain expected, then weather is supposed to be around 20c for about a week.
No wind so far so it's great, ( i hate the wind )
