Made enquiries at Tjm re the upgrade for Lc200. You need the lift kit and then the upgrade around $9000 to legally tow 4 ton

And then think of the SAFETY. NOT the WANT
side of it.

Unless the "Upgrade" included chassis framing. Extension, with a lazy axle (2 extra wheels)
With susp, upgrade etc.
Then Possibly.
BUT a small truck o oversized US Ute are the way to go.

Similar pricing. Safety for missus.

There's NO WAY... that designed and built in factory Chassis, as a 3 ton. rolling
unning gear.
can Safely haul that weight of 4 ton around. for long.

People are kidding themselves.

straight line. minimal steep hills up and down Maybe.
BUT when accident causing\dodging stresses occur. Hmmmm.

A 3 ton "light truck alone.
Designed and built for that load. haul and carry.

Had 5 times the chassis rail strength of these toys.
Even a 2 tonner. with probably same engine Transm.

The sooner the law gets it together.
and teaches these retired car drivers.
That safety and control. at all times.
Comes b4 YOUR arses comfort and fancy looking toys.
The better.

An Orthopaedic seat is Waaaaay more comfy than any factory seat
In anything less that an Audi or Merc.

Look at photo's of a light truck (as example) Accident.
With a large Toyota\Patrol etc.

Who's chassis is bent ,Twisted, and shortened.

WITH '''''YOU'''''' inside if it with missus.

With larger vehicle contact. Even less chance.

Towing a van the SIZE and weight of a 4 tonner.
When things go wrong. With an "upgraded" chassis susp,

Sooner you that I. Believe me. It's just a band-aid formulae.

I've seen too many gone wrong in my days trucking.
for ME wanting to be the oneon the receiving end.
Believe me.

THAT is the thing.

NOBODY KNOWS. When. Where something will go wrong. especially nowadays.

I always have the BEST. Safest veh for MY needs. Just for that reason.

I respect my missus.
Plus fear the combined wrath of 3 kids and 9 grand daughters.

What do YOU say to her kids, when she possibly goes to god or a wheelchair.
In a veh YOU chose to use.
"Cause I liked it so upgraded it's capacity to suit ME.
And it wasn't up to the job when needed?????.
Think.

MY kids would use a 12g on me. Their mum. Where is he.
No Thank's.

Exaggerated. YES.
But realistic on todays roads\traffic loads.

Another long one.
With MAYBE...
a coupla pertinent points that just MAY stick.
