New member introduction

Hello all,

My name id Gwynnie and I am a new member and finding my way around your site.  Recently I have just returned from travelling solo in a Motorhome around the Australian coastline .  Because I placed a dash cam on my front windscreen records of my travels were kept in visual forms by way of photos & videos.  The journey took me nine months and now I am in the process of reconfiguring my new vehicle a 4WDfor my

next trip ideas which involves 4X4 driving inland Australia with a group of like minded individuals.  If anyone out there has a JAYCO SWIFT Camperor a 'slide-on camper'for sale that suits my 1996 TOYOTA HILUX 4x4 Diesel Tray Top utility I would love to hear from you.

Signed "- MatildatravellerMatildatraveller.jpg

Also a very warm welcome from me Gwynnie

I am sure that if someone has, or knows about a JAYCO SWIFT Camperor a 'slide-on camper, they will come forward and let you know

Unfortunately not many people view this section of the forum

Perhaps if you were to ask in the General section, more people would see your post

I wish you many more happy road trips

G'day Gwynnie and welcome to the forum.  Do feel free to join in the fun games - Who is This under the Digress section and Name this Place under the general section.  The latter is a great way to find new places to visit.  Sorry we can't help re the slide on.

Pete and Marion

Hello Doug, thanks for your response and kind words of wisdom.  I had a brilliant time on the road and met many wonderful fellow travelers along the way.  As I have said my knowledge of your forum site is still a mystery to me, however while I am still learning I am still living. number1.gif  Take care & chat again....

Hi Tony & Bev,

Great to hear from you and thanks for your advise and warm welcome.  As I am just new to this form of communication it is all by trial & error I'm afraid.  I asked my grandson how he knows so much about technology and he replied: " Nonna, you have to be brave and experiment, then practice that's the only way to master new things!"                                                                  Such a bright lad for only seven years old..number1.gif

Hello Pete & Marion,  Thank you for your welcoming words this chatting on line is all new to me, it will be by the 'bump & feel' method for a while until I get used to it.  But it is only with practice, (my grandson told me) that you get better at everything Nonna!!! (Wonder where he gets that idea from?  Sounds like my own words coming back to haunt me maybe!!    number1.gif               Take care and safe travels wherever you go.  Gwynnie

Good morning Woody & Sue,  being a bit of a novice at this forum it is great to hear I am not getting anyone off side commenting on different sites.  All a learning curve, but everyone has been wonderful and very helpful.  I do not internet chat with any real confidence, but learning a loads from my 7 & 10 year old grandsons!  Still chasing a Jayco swift or Eagle off-road camper and put a message on the general forum as suggested, hopefully come across one soon.. I noticed you have a photo on the far left hand side of your page.  Any suggestions on how to add a similar to my profile please?

Take care from Gwynnie at Matildatraveller    floating.gif
