Where would we be without the Guys & Gals on here

Hi all,

Where would Lambie and myself be, without all you Guys and Gals on here.

Another big Thankyou to Terry who PM us. To help us with our van.

We are looking forward to many more Adventures now.

Thankyou one and all.

Warm regards Jim & Lambie

I've asked for and received advice on this forum, which has helped tremendously at times.

So I also would like to thank everybody, not only for the advice given to me but for the help you all have given to everyone else as well.

To answer your question Jim, I would probably be still stuck under the van scratching my head.

Thanks all,

Cheers, John

More seriously yes I have learn so much, making one more wiser and having tolerance when we travel.

Great sight, great people, thank you all.

yeah.....but the only problem is I'm still waiting for my $4 bottle of red wine to wash down the fresh fish that Jim is catching us and KJ and all our extended family (Hey bro - we have BIG extended families)

BTW Did everyone read in The Australian last week that a $5 bottle of Coles Shiraz won the annual national red wine out of 144,000 competing wine. Apparently all the judges have since thrown themselves off the top of a grape truss in embarrassment

High Bruce & Bev,

I have some very bad news. We have kicked the Bottle for good.

The good news is that we have moved up market to Aldi's  ALBERTSON'S  Reserve Soft Dry Red 4lt @$9.00

Very Under Rated.

For etiquette I still bottle it for the table with a top brand lable.

Some over here are gob smacked after they have drunk their fill.

Its so good I Marinate myself in it.

Regards Jim & Lambie

Jim - sorry to ruin your next trip to WA, but Aldi has only managed to get one liquor license in all its stores over here so far. Police and Liquor Commission think we're a bunch of boozers and that cheap beer, wine and spirits right next to food will stop us buying for our kids and focus on booze instead - another nanny state rule in full play.

Aldi are appealing against the rulings, but it may be years before they get the thumbs up
