I have actually met more couples than solo blokes, and more solo blokes than solo ladies, while travelling

I like to think of them all as travellers

I am a solo bloke traveller, at times when the wife does not want to travel, and one half of a travelling couple at other times

Tongue in cheek

I do not think that I would be very suitable as a member of the group

Anyone interested? ...fishing, drinking, cursin, fixing things, drinking, fishing.etc.

As I would only be interested in fixing things

Sounds ok mate but if there is a group how does solo come in? I'm about travelling in our own vehicles, but together. Company on the road and at meal times and at destination.

I do prospecting winter time in the north of W.A.

I wonder what would happen if a solo bloke invaded their space and asked about quilting or how to do a purl stitch whilst knitting? Or just enquired about the group and posted quite blatantly that he had just realised it was a SOLO FEMALE group? You wanted female space, we gave it to you and we set up male space. Once again, we cannot be sexist and demand a space of our own, we have to have it invaded and commented on with an apology of sorry " OooAnopss!.......Just noticed I'm in the solo blokes thread." Sorry HunnyBunny, it was a blokes thread until you broke it, shame on you and I hope you find a place of your own!
Now, back to business, men's business, furniture made from pallets for outdoor use, any ideas. My mate in Cooktown has made some great outdoor furniture from pallets!

I know you posted back in 2016   but im wondering if your solo blokes group ever got off the ground?

Im a bloke aged 68 and soon to become a  (mostly) solo nomad....and to be frank, I find Male company more interesting/sensible/trouble free ...... that's NOT to say women are dull or stupid --- its just that can don't need to watch my ps and qs so much....

Gawd now im sexist .... Im not, its just my choice.. Im wondering how the solo blokes thing has evolved and if its still going?
