Got my new van today and already started to pack!

I got my new van home this afternoon, Friday28/10 for or those who notice the date and time of posting.  Unhooked it about 17:00 and went to get something for tea.  Had to pass the rubbidy and went in for a couple and a boast.  Got home and started packing.  Everything is under scrutiny, down size all the garbage that was never used in the old van and rationalise, how many pegs do I need?  Hopefully, packing will only last a week and I'll be off on the maiden voyage.  If any one wants to follow me, there will probably be a trail of discarded stuff non wanted in the Op Shops on my route!

Welcome to the gang Lancelot Link, enjoy here and out in the playground.

We all do clean outs from time to time, I did one a few moons back and another is getting close.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

pony-tail, I opted for a 13ft Jayco StarCraft Outback off road as I want to see of northern NSW and visit friends on a small station, 12,500 acres on the Paroo Overflow. Outside shower, self sufficient power and gas. Add-ons will come as I progress further down the track. Towing vehicle is a two year old Mitsubishi Challenger.

I did my first outing, did the family thing in Adelaide and survived the big storm. Van didn't leak, very few problems, biggest was the hot water service being warm and not hot. Lucky I guess. Turns out the tempering valve needs adjustment. Loved the whole experience, can't wait to do the next trip. The budgie, Dickie Whacker, had a great tie too! Next trip is in the planning phase.
