Has anybody added a rear carry-box to the chasis members of a lunagazer? If so, what engineering recommendations are available/suggested?? PR

Welcome to the gang Jurgenski, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Just be careful of overall length of van and that you don't go over the max allowd.

Keep Safe on the roafs

The engineering team at Jurgens designed your Lunagazer as a well balanced unit.

Adding weight to the rear of your van may cause it to become unstable.

There's been plenty of examples of ''carry boxes'' & bicycle racks left behind (dropping off) unknowingly along the highway.

The chassis of your caravan wasn't designed to have anything hanging off it. Congratulations on purchasing a lovely caravan.

The following link leads to a demo of caravan Stability that should interest everyone with a Van.

Jurgenski, there is a few reasons why Jurgens are light good design and well manufactured caravan.

The chassis is pressed section and perforated giving it less weight. I would be very wary of adding any extras that may

compromise the structure under it.

As with anything . If it's engineered ? It'll be fine . Obviously don't store anything heavy back there . Keep in mind the total weight .. The equal and opposite reactions prevail big time here .. Things like awning, screen covers etc .. Can a similar box be fitted on the front ?
