G'day from Mandurah

I chanced upon this forum while doing some of the seemingly endless research into caravans and equipment. We are 6 months away from buying our new van and going through the "how many panels, battery setup, what sort of fridge" stuff no

The answers I found in here seemed really helpful so I thought I would join the crowd hanging out here.

At the moment we have a Coramal Seka 535 pop top and our tug is a 2013 Holden Colorado. We are putting in as many trips as we can to gather experience for when we break loose from the shackles of employment. biggrin

We are in discussions with Evolution Caravans in Somerville about the construction of a new van and hope to be kitted up by about April next year. Then there will be  a big, fast road trip from Mandurah to pick it up and a slow dawdle back home over a few weeks.

Looking forward to gaining some knowledge along the way with the help of this forum.

Cheers

Peter

Welcome to the forum Peter. You've probably discovered that there are lots of knowledgeable people here who can give advice on just about any aspect of being on the road. I spent over a year deciding on whether to go with a tug and van or a motorhome. Once I chose the motorhome route, figuring out how to fit it out was a bit overwhelming but I learned so much from the members here that in the end I knew exactly what I wanted.

You can learn a lot from using the forum's Search facility, but don't be afraid to ask any questions.

Cheers, and happy & safe travels

Joe
