PLODNALONG is heading north

I have been working in the fruitful orchards of northern Victoria since January and am now heading north for a warm winter. I have had a week off in the lovely town of Coolamon near Wagga Wagga doing clean up - great caravan park with just the basics and only $10 a night for a powered site - and am heading off tomorrow in the direction of St George in Qld. It may take a week or so to get there but if you see me on the road do flash me and wave or come round for a cider or wine if I am camping near you.

Cheers, Andy

With power and water, and clean hot shower and toilet for ten dollars the first night, the next two nights free then ten dollars a night after that I just couldn't leave without paying. It's by the Brigalow creek in Meandarra near Miles in Queensland. Great Anzac museum. I have now moved on to Isla Gorge for tonight then Theodore tomorrow for a week or so.

P.s. Can't beat a campfire as the evening cools in a dead quiet national park

Theodore is a lovely little town with a nice IGA and tourist info place. Free camp at one end and a great showground at the other if, like me, you want power and water (only $75 for a week). Tried fishing but so far have caught only a small catfish and a couple of turtles. Crunchy meat pie anyone?
