Montie - check out Hey Jim's post - Our email has landed!

 Thanks for the reply Jules.

There seems to be more than one thread and I can't find the post you are talking about.

Hi all,

Great news out of Melbourne this morning,

I got the call We both have been wanting for So So long.smilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmile

It came from Mr Peter Manning The Manager of Customer Care. He has our Photo's and the list. He has given Sydney Jayco a green light on the lot.

Every thing that We have listed will be address from the 7th of April. Our van will not be given back till it has all green lights.

He knows theres issues and ours will be addressed total.

Very Happy at last.smilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmile

Regards Jim & Lambie

We bought a 3 year old Jayco Discovery Outback about 12 months ago and absolutely love it, we're presuming all bugs were ironed out by previous owner.

I had to laugh a few weeks back when I went to remove the water tank after removing the metal straps holding it in position I thought it would just fall on the ground, wrong, after much pulling and pushing it finally dropped to the ground.

What was the problem, the bolt that holds the inside table in position had been drilled and threaded into the plastic tank. A bit of silastic, tape and a hacksaw fixed the problem, but it does make you wonder.

As others have said I don't think it is Just Jayco that has problems.

Cheers Phil

Terrific news Jim I will be very interested to see how lon the repairs take and how happy you are with the quality of the work once you get it back, at least Jayco head office have done the right thing now.
