Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Owen my wife is Robyn, we're both in our 60's (me more so) and retired. Live in Romsey Victoria. We've done quite a bit of traveling around this beautiful country and hope to see plenty more. We have a 23' traveller caravan (off road ) towed by a 100 series landcruiser 4.2 turbo diesel it does a good job. Well cheers for now hope catch up with some of you fellow GNs in the near future.

Welcome to the gang OwenK, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Nice area, Romsey. I am not all that far up the road from you really, Greens Lake, 50km west of Shepparton along Midland Hwy.

Keep an eye out for KFC and his pink shirts when he comes along though.

Thanks Doug, great spot Greens Lake was there for a few days last February. We just got confirmation from a house-sitter for Easter time, we're off up the east coast for a couple of  months. The sitter looked after our cats and house about the same time last year. We went from home to Mildura, Brokenhill, Yunta, Arkaroola, Cameron Corner then Western Queensland  and back through Lightning Ridge. It was a great  trip, loved it.

Cheers Owen.

Welcome from us too Owen and Robyn

I see the chief of cheer has welcomed you into the family

Lots of good info in here, if you do a search and don't get the answer then pop a question into the appropriate section of the forum for best results.

I might just buy a pink shirt one day but at the moment I cannot see myself in that colour.

nearly always someone here to chat with so enjoy your Traveller we have a 22' Bel Air that we love and tow it with a V6 Td navara dual cab.

Frank

Thanks for your welcome Frank. The Traveller is just brilliant, I put up (a part 2) on show us your rig. It's van #5 for us (in ten years ). We bought it second -hand,  I saw it on the net and couldn't resist. We bought a new van at a caravan show in Melbourne in 2011 a legacy outbak, didn't really suit our needs  (at the time just couldn't afford a new traveller ) so the traveller came up just had to grab it.

Cheers Owen.
