G'day from the Amblng Austins

Hi all, we are another couple of very happy Grey Nomads who love exploring our beautiful country. After a short period in the OzTent we progressed to a Kimberley Off Road Kamper Trailer (Mariner) in 2003.  Over the next 5 years we enjoyed many great adventures travelling over 120,000 kilometers to all corners of our amazing country, including such treasures as Tasssie, the Simpson, Cape York, the Canning Stock Route, The Flinders, Rainbow Valley,  Adels Grove, Ularu, Kakadu, The Daintree and so many more. Our current rig is a Kimberley off Road Karavan, towed by our Nissan Patrol, which we upgraded to in 2008.  Since then our travels have continued  to follow the roads less travelled all over SA, WA, NT, QLD, NSW, VIC AND of course back to Tasmania.  As well our Aussie Ambles, we have travelled to China, Egypt, Europe (including river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam), Vietnam (second time for Norm, who first 'visited' there in 1966 as a National Serviceman) and a couple of times to the USA and Canada where we joined a group of fellow Aussies exploring from Seattle to Alaska and from Boston to Nova Scotia and around to New York via Niagara in Motorhomes.  We have also taken a couple of cruises to the Pacific Islands.   Our last trip OS was in October 2015 when we spent a few weeks in Hawaii for a family wedding. (any excuse for travel, we say).

Our next camping trip will be our annual couple of weeks in February, with family and friends up at the beautiful Diamond Head camp in the Crowdy Bay National Park, south of Laurieton in NSW.
