Nomads in waiting

Hi all,

Our intro - we are Rick and Julie aka juric. We purchased a 21.6 ft crusader X country caravan in October and are eagerly awaiting our big lap of Oz which we hope will be early in the new year. Tow vehicle will be an 80 series landy at this stage but may have to upgrade to a turbo or v8 as the van comes in at 2.7 t. Will have a few runs soon to see how the old girl handles it as we have been unable to get away due to family circumstances. Its been about 20 years since I last towed a van round oz so I will probably have a few questions for all you experienced folk in the coming months. Really enjoy reading all the info on this site and hopefully get to meet some of you on the road. Oh and looking forward to happy hour

     Regards Rick and Julie

Welcome to the gang Rick and Julie, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I don't see why your LC wouldn't do the job really. I tow a 2.7t van with a 2014 Colorado twin cab ute and does it well.

Keep Safe on the roads.
