Hello to all

Hi, this is my first posting, I'd like to say hello, my wife and I have been on a few trips in our van and are enjoying the life style and people we have meet, it takes a bit of time to know exactly what you want in a van, in fact it's a learning curve for me , we plan on doing the lap before long so a lot of things to take onboard with planning and what to take, where to go ect,.

Bit disappointed in with the quality of our van, but that will sort itself out, getting lots of tips from other travellers and looking forward to discovering more of Ozz and perhaps bumping into some Grey Nomads along the way.

Welcome from us WoolgoolgaRob

lots of info in here if you do a search. Ask a question if you cannot find an answer by searching. Lots of helpful people in here only too willing to assist.

I am sure the "Chief of Cheer" will be along soon to welcome you also and may even have an answer to your question

The polo shirts in the shop are really good quality, look great and are very comfortable too.

enjoy the playground we call Australia.

Thank you for your warm welcome, I often browse the site to gather tips, I'm learning a lot and taking it on board.
Sandra G, as far as my rigs concerned I have a New Age 19' towed by a BT-50, more than happy with my BT-50, disappointed with our new Van, the quality and problems with the New Age and number plate height not being legal, they have refused to refit to the correct height, so I couldn't honestly reccomend them, I have other issues with them that are still pending, I'll let you know what transpires in the future.
That said I love this life style and my wife and I, are going to burn what candle we have left, see this lovely country and meet the real Ozzies out there, hope to see you all, we have set a date and will be doing the lap starting around April next year.

Rob

Rob, can I suggest you tell your states rego mob about New Age attitude as New Age, afterall had it registered with them. Worth a try.

I had a number plate 200mm higher than should be so rang my dealer and at my suggestion and convenience he agreed to pay for the items required to relocate the plate and I fitted everything and a friend wired it up for me so the light worked.

All good now.
